Sarker Mehdi Afif

Sarker Mehdi Afif is a qualified Barrister from the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn, UK and an Advocate of the Supreme Court, High Court Division. Mr. Afif is a digital media and corporate lawyer and works with a broad range of clients across the Technology, Media & Entertainment industries, Power industries advising on intellectual property, commercial and corporate issues, as well as digital rights and licensing.

Mr. Afif is further known for acting as the chief correspondence officer of the firm when engaged by international clients. During his span at Jashim Uddin Sarker &Associates he has worked for several projects, Public Private Partnerships (PPPs), advised numerous business conglomerates and multinational companies. Mr. Afif has been highly praised by local and international clients for his communication skills, clarity of law, management and organizing skills. 

Before working with Jashim Uddin Sarker & Associates Mr. Afif has assisted learned Senior Advocate & ex- Attorney General Mr. A J Mohammad Ali for his works in the Supreme Court of Bangladesh and Dhaka Judge Court from 2013 to 2016 where he actively participated in preparing writ petition, civil appeal, civil revision, criminal appeal, criminal revision etc.

Mr. Afif is now pursuing a higher degree in IP & Technology Law in the UK
